You can always eat curry with quinoa, brown rice or polenta (corn-based).<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINI THALIS &#8211; an ensemble of dishes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>North Indian Favourites:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Veg. Pulao<\/strong> (spiced rice dish with veggies and nuts) or <strong>Roti<\/strong>, Indian flat bread.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>curry<\/strong> with gravy: <strong>Veggies in Butter Chicken Sauce or Vegetable Korma or Chana Masala aka spicy chickpeas<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A North Indian <strong>dal<\/strong>, lentil dish or a <strong><em>sabji<\/em>, <\/strong>a dry veggie dish<strong>, <\/strong>Potatoes and Peas or Kale-Potato<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Substitute the lentil or veggie dish for the <strong>starter: bhaji\/bhajias\/pakoras or Spicy Potato-Corn Patties<\/strong>. You could also opt for a salad, chutney, dessert or drink instead.
